(Southern Ontario between Cambridge and Brantford) Marilyn started designing clothes and selling at local craft shows in 1991. When she opened her first small retail space in St. George, she immediatley became very busy. She hired local women to help with cutting and sewing and the rest is history. In 1999 she took the step of adding a retail sewing machine department and today Lyn Bell Creative Sewing Studio is a virtual emporium of sewing and quilting supplies. In 2000 Marilyn closed the clothing portion of th business in order to devote all her energy to the sewing machine business. Marilyn employs her daughter's Linda and Lisa and a talented staff of sewers and teachers. You'll find the latest and one of the largest selections of quilting fabrics , books, threads and sewing notions in the area. She leads a full schedule of classes in everything from beginner quilting to machine embroidery. You can also come to Lyn Bell's for machine and serger repairs.
